Handling Guidelines

Sanderson Farms' concerns regarding sanitation and temperature control have directed us to become a leader in sanitation technology. As a quality producer, Sanderson Farms takes measures during growing and processing chickens to produce a final product with superior microbiological quality. Along with mandatory USDA inspection, Sanderson Farms employs a research department, as well as professionally trained and qualified quality assurance personnel. These personnel, along with state-of-the-art equipment used at each facility, ensure that Miss Goldy® chicken will remain as one of the most wholesome brands of chicken available.

Being a vertically integrated company allows us to monitor our quality assurance standards at each step in the operations: grain selection, egg production, and continuing through processing and packaging. This ensures our customers that they will receive the highest quality poultry product on the market.

The safe and careful handling/storage of poultry products will greatly reduce the amount of Salmonella bacteria.
